DEVELOPERS OF the new cinema complex have covered the adjacent closed Casino to Murwillumbah railway line with road base.

Voice of Byron reader Syl Reid asked this week, “What are they doing to the railway tracks area south of the pedestrian crossing from Butler street [near the] water tower?”

THERE ARE concerns for the mental health of Long Tan veterans who have returned to the site of their famous battle, after a last-minute decision by the Vietnamese Government to cancel today’s 50th anniversary commemorations.
