Two World Championships in a Row for Byron Bay’s Milli McCourt

Byron Bay High School’s Milli McCourt won her second gold medal in a row at the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation World Championship in Long Beach California.

Milli McCourt won gold for the second year running at the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation World Championship in Long Beach California.

Her division was the 17yrs blue belt division which she took out without having a single point scored against her.

Claiming gold again means Milli is a two-times World Champion.

Milli’s support team, Team McCourt Jiu Jitsu, consists of Tahlia, Milli, Skylah, Indi, Bryce and Rocco.

The team is sponsored by Peterpans Adv Travel, Bull Terrier Fight Gear Oz and Jamie Bennett Osteo.

“Great effort with 3 fights and 2 finishing by submission and not a single point scored against her,” says the team post at webgram.co and on Facebook.
