IN THE ‘seventies, Nashua was one of the North Coast’s premium rock bands, with a host of fans from all over the Northern Rivers.

These days Nashua the band is no more, but Byron Bay hinterland’s cute little village by the same name has gained a line-up of fans all on its own.

Simon Baker, star of The Mentalist, has a home there while musician Xavier Rudd is 10 minutes away and Thor frontman Chris Hemsworth takes to the surf in nearby Broken Head.

“Nashua has become very much a high-profile area of Byron district,” says local agent Matt Towner of The RE/MAX Collection.

“It has a star-studded line-up.”

Max is currently fronting in the sale of this four-bedroom, three-bathroom residence at 152 Burnetts Road, in Nashua.
