ONE OF Byron’s best-kept secrets, an isolated home perched atop one of the Byron hinterland’s tallest ridge lines, is being sold through an expressions-of-interest campaign, and the panoramic views have already caught the eye of one celebrity.
RE/MAX Riverside sales agent Stefanie Maras could not reveal the name of the interested person, but said it was an international musician residing in Australia.
“Even though it’s only the first week of the campaign, we have been inundated with enquiries,” she said.
The property also sits between two celebrity properties: Olivia Newton John’s Gaia retreat and The Mentalist actor Simon Baker’s private getaway.
But it is not the proximity to celebrity getaways attracting buyers to 152 Burnetts Road.
Ms Maras said the location was “one of a kind”.
“Byron Shire council are very strict on developing on the top of ridge lines, but somehow the owners found a loophole and managed to build their house on top of a peak. So it’s really one of a kind,” she said.
