Lorraine says, “Has anyone seen the ridiculous, severely hacked heritage palms in upper Carlyle street today?
“Savagely chopped in half in the name of safety by a private contractor hired by the council!

“An arborist would never have done this.
“So sad as these trees are the home of birds and other wildlife.
“What do the residents think of this?”
