CHILD PORN website victims and their parents have expressed outrage at the depraved pornography ring targeting school students and young women, as yet more disturbing material has been uncovered and the list of schools targeted grows to 70, including Mullumbimby High School.
The website contains thousands of images including one of a girl giving oral sex, dressed in a school uniform.
Many images are nude, where the victims appear to be unaware they are being photographed.
When victims begged for their images to be removed, men have called them “sluts” and “dumb c**ts”, saying they only have themselves to blame.
Local social media consultant, Kirra Pendergast has drawn attention in her Facebook feed to the lack of government action in pulling down the website.
“It is still live, and members of the government are claiming “there is no child exploitation.”
Kirra, the owner-operator of groundbreaking Safe on Social, a company dedicated to keeping children and their school communities safe on social media, poses the question, “If it’s not child exploitation, then what is it?”
“[Pulling this website down] needs to be made a priority.”
An Australian Federal Police spokeswoman said authorities are investigating.
“The AFP is currently liaising with its domestic and international law enforcement partners and relevant government agencies to evaluate this matter and to determine appropriate courses of action,” she said.
