Man Charged with Murder of Byron Bay DJ Chris Bradley

A MAN has been charged with murder following the death of Byron Bay DJ Chris Bradley.

Tweed Byron Police yesterday Thursday December 28 charged a 24-year-old man from Byron Bay over the shock Christmas Day death.

Detectives arrested him at 8.45am after which he was taken to Ballina Police Station and charged with murder.

Mr Bradley, 28, collapsed and died at a Christmas party at a property on Carlyle Street, Byron Bay on Christmas night.

Emergency services were called to the property at 11.30 pm and attempted to resuscitate Mr Bradley but he died on the floor soon after they arrived.

A criminal investigation was launched by the State Crime Command Homicide Squad together with Tweed-Byron detectives.

A DJ and owner of events and artist management company Atypical, Mr Bradley, also known as B-Rad, moved to Byron eight years ago and studied audio engineering at the SAE Institute Byron Bay.
