EX-BAYITE Don Gray runs a very successful Facebook Group called Friends of DGI.

It’s a happy, positive group where photo enthusiasts can share their latest shots, and receive constructive help to improve their photography.

“Friends of DGI isn’t about who is a great photographer, how well an image is composed, whether rules of photography have been followed or not.

“It’s about sharing images that fellow photography enthusiasts think Group members might like, and having a bit of fun,” says Don.

The photo, a shot of a starry night featuring a meteorite falling to earth, has received thousands of views and comments across TV social media.

Steve captured the unique image using a Canon 60D with a Samyang 14mm Ultra Wide lens, a film speed of ISO 3200, his aperture set at F2.8 and exposure was 25 seconds.

“I was chasing a Milky Way shot and the falling star just happened to appear at the right time,” said Steve.
