DOMESTIC VIOLENCE will be the focus of community forum in Byron Bay tonight (Monday, 12 September) chaired by comedian Mandy Nolan.
The forum, at the Byron Community Centre tonight, September 12, from 7 pm, includes representatives from police and support agencies and is subtitled “I Think You’re Just Being Hysterical”.
Ms Nolan said the panel and community conversation will look at the statistics, challenges, solutions and services in our region dealing with domestic violence.
“We will discuss where are we up to with domestic violence, strategies, prevention, protection and community attitudes and most importantly what is happening in our region,” she said.
