BYRON SHIRE Council’s website has been broken for the past few days.
UPDATE: When we checked at 1 pm, the Council’s website was up and running again.
Voice of Byron phoned their media division during business hours yesterday and left a message alerting them of the broken website by voice mail after no one answered.
Items not functioning include the Home Page, which contains almost nothing (see photo) and the left menu appears twice.
We tested random tabs in the left-hand menu to check if the information was up to date.
The Meetings tab appears to be functioning, as are the Employment and Community Satisfaction tabs, although the latter contains information no later than 2013.
The Media Releases tab contains nothing later than July 31, 2015.
Ballina and Tweed Shire website are both functioning properly.
