RUGBY SEVENS is Rugby in it’s fastest form and rugby enthusiasts are invited to come to Byron Bay this weekend and watch teams from all over the World and around Australia compete.
This years registered teams have increased as well as the overall standard, with ex-Internationals involved.
The 2017 competitions include Men’s Premiership, Women’s and Men’s Social with matches running from 9am until 4pm Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 October.
A new addition to the 2017 is the Coopers Fan Zone, an epic addition to this years 7s. With a special VIP area for our competition winners, DJs Al Royale and Mr Ha. Yes. from Coco Republic Byron Bay and Sounds Good Sound Systems.

TEAM INFO: BYRON BAY RUGBY 7’s 2017 COOPERS ALE INVITATIONAL
“We would like to invite you to express your interest in taking part in the annual 2017 Byron Bay Rugby 7’s Competition”
The tournament is entering its 28th year and will be held on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th of October at the Byron Recreational Fields, which is situated in the centre of town.
This year there are 32 Men’s* and 16 Women’s Team spots available, being four grades for the men and two grades for the women. The total prize money is in excess of $16,000.00 and all teams participating will play three (3) games on the Saturday and at least one (1) game on the Sunday*.
Registration fees for the tournament are $A700.00 per men’s and $A600.00 per women’s teams.
In an attempt to make the tournament more enjoyable for all associated when you fill out your expression of interest form below could you please nominate whether your team is entering for competitive or social reasons.
This is to assist us with the grading of the teams and will not affect the quality of opponents or game time.
