EMERGENCY services have responded to reports of a person in cardiac arrest in Byron Bay.
A spokesperson for NSW Ambulance said they received a call just after 9am to the intersection of Fletcher St and Bay St.
He said the patient had been taken out of the water and paramedics were conducting CPR.
The Westpac Life Saver Rescue helicopter has been tasked to the scene.
Multiple ambulance crews have responded.
