Sunday morning will be the Byron Bay Malibu Club’s first round of the 2016/17 season.
Club spokesman Byron Bern said new members are most welcome.
“We welcome surfers of all ages and abilities,” he said.
“The old mals will hit the water from 8:00 am, and it’ll be best if everyone wears their winter speedos to keep warm.”
