PICTURED above suiting up are Danny Wills, Jed Fasso, Kirsty Zoric, Leihani Zoric all trying out the new Ben King Memorial Rails/Trip-a-deal competition rashies.

Danny has entered the Open Division and will be one of the favourite after taking out the NSW State title last weekend.

Jed will surf in the Under 18s and will be hoping the contest is at his home break at Broken Head.

Kirsty will surf in the Open Women’s and is keen to make the final, while her daughter Leihani is frothing, as this will be her first big event and she wants to take it out.

They are all Byron Boardrider members with the club having a large contingent of competitors in every division.

The BK is named in honour of late Byron Boardriders Club stalwart Ben King who tirelessly promoted the club and was responsible for the Boardriders being admitted to the Australian Surfing Hall of Fame

The competition is on this weekend with prizes and giveaways. Still time to enter at: www. byronbayboard riders.com
