
BYRON BAY world surfing champion Mark ”Mono” Stewart has returned from the World ASD Championships with a medal for the third year running.
Backing up his two Gold medals from the past two years, Mono has returned home this year with a Bronze in the AS2 stand/kneel division.
Twenty-six countries competed this year with Brazil finishing just in front of Australia and the United States in third.

The Gold Medal was won by Brazilian surfer Alcino Neto who also led his country to first place.
