NINE NETWORK’S Honey Homes says Matt Damon is a frequent visitor to Byron Bay, most recently hanging out with A-list pal Chris Hemsworth and his family over New Year’s Eve.
Now rumour has it he’s bought the house next door to his fellow actor.
Although real-estate agents are remaining tight-lipped, it seems Bourne star Matt Damon is set to join Byron’s glitterati.

Newspaper reports credited an anonymous local real-estate agent for breaking the news, adding that the property was most likely bought in a private sale.
The only property near the Hemsworth family’s Broken Head home that’s listed as sold on the Byron Property Buyers site, which has been linked with the sale, is a luxury property with a pool.
The sale price was not disclosed.
