A Voice of Byron regular has shared this Suffolk Park Progress Association post claiming partial victory in preventing the NSW Department of Education from selling community land at Suffolk Park.
The Facebook post says, “PARTIAL VICTORY FOR SUFFOLK PARK’S ‘VILLAGE GREEN’ “
“After an intense week of lobbying it looks like we have managed to move some political mountains re Lot 60, Beech Drive.
“Ben Franklin, NSW MLC has assured us, in writing, that the land will be withdrawn from public sale.
“There will be no online auction on November 29th.
