POLICE ARRESTED and charged a man with drug supply offences at Ballina-Byron Airport on Friday afternoon (June 16).
About 3.30pm, officers from the Tweed/Byron Target Action Group stopped and searched a 41-year-old man in the airport car park.
Officers seized 110g of methylamphetamine and a small amount of ketamine, arresting the man and taking him to Ballina Police Station.
A search warrant was conducted at the man’s home in Byron Bay, where a number of items were seized for further examination.
The man has now been charged with supplying prohibited drug (greater than indictable quantity) and two counts of possessing a prohibited drug.
