FROM VoB KWIMABB: Droving Cattle Across the Brunswick to Broken Head & Back

  • Post category:Byron Bay

Voice of Byron and KWIMABB regular, Mike Watterson, shared these photos showing early times on the Far North Coast where his father Percy (Beau) Watterson drove cattle from Mooball to SC Steele’s property at Broken Head and back, swimming them across the Brunswick River each way.

Another local working the Steele property at the time was Tommy Fysh, who in later years worked with Mike at Norco, Byron Bay.
