Voice of Byron regular, Timothy Elijah Cassidy, shared some very kind words about Voice of Byron and its editor. Kind words which were humbly and most gratefully received. Cheers, Tim!
Tim says, “Thanks Johnnie Wright !!!!
“I’m sure I speak for quite a few fellow TRUE Bayites when I say I really really appreciate SO MUCH , the setting up of these many “Byron Bay focussed” pages, which help us ALL to connect and keep abreast with the “true local core” of our beloved home Town’s happenings so easily and readily ……. and comprehensively…..in an era when our beautiful town has, in just 20 short years, been negatively impacted and changed forever by the international backpacker trade and domestic traveller alike, dumping on our town their partying excretions…..and the yuppie realm invading and establishing impossible to afford businesses / products from the high end of city couture n style !!!
“So thank you John for creating a local “cyber Bay” for us all to come together as a loving n respectful Byronite community in this technological age of exponentially rapid change.
“A place like the old Bay, where we can come and chill for a bit, see “likes n comments” by familiar names we love, and cannot see physically anymore, but can say g’day with our finger tips via a smartphone, and in my case through a slower brain than I once had “back in the Bay day” !!!
“So here’s to Johnnie Wright !!!
May you have an epic Christmas our friend and “community commander” ….
“And may we all have an awesome Christmas , raising a glass to all those Bay family and friends who have gone before us, to we who remain (if only cyber-wise), and to all our kids n grandkids who are the future of our stunning town and region !!!!
“Thanks Johnnie !! I know I needed these Byron pages !!!
“Merry Christmas all and HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!”
Well said and I would also add my thanks to John , would not be an easy job keeping us all in line Merry Christmas
