THERE IS one exercise that far supersedes its peers which it comes to stronger, leaner wings, according to Gold Coast Physique consultant, Sean Ryatt.
“It’s all about the tricep dip,” he says.
“The humble tricep dip packs a mean punch by activating all three tricep heads. Your triceps are made up of three components, encompassing approximately two-thirds of the muscle mass in your arm.
“Not only that, but tricep dips also target your shoulders, chest, back and core, which means you need no equipment for an exercise that ticks all the boxes.
It’s a basic body-weight exercise. Triceps dips don’t require much equipment: if you don’t have a bench, you can always do them on the ground.
“Take a few minutes out of your routine and spend the time to do a series of these every evening at home. You don’t need any equipment, and for the best possible result, push up quickly and lower down slowly,” Sean recommends.
