Voice of Byron (VoB) is a Byron-based news and interests website – where you are right now.
VoB also includes a suite of Facebook groups with over 12,000 members in total. NOTE there individual members in more than one group, but the Voice of Byron Facebook Group itself has over 3500 members on its own: https://www.facebook.com/groups/voiceobyron/
In a nutshell, the Voice of Byron website publishes stories, shares them through the relevant Facebook groups, and then people click on them, returning to the website to read the full story.
Each article is also promoted Australia-wide in its relevant sector.
This results in many thousands of 'page views' – pairs of eyeballs, if you like – every month. Our record was 150,000 in November...
These thousands of page views come from up to 24,000 unique visitors (mostly Byron Shire people), usually returning TWICE on average, and viewing around 7 stories each visit.
Current advertiser, Geoff Bensley, of Byron Bay Electrical, has jokingly complained about the amount of extra work he gets from his advertisement.
- First, your advertisement.
It can contain up to FOUR frames, so can tell four stories about your business.
Here's one with just two frames: - Second, your advertisement appears on every Voice of Byron article published during the month.
- Next, you get your own customised, dedicated web page inside Voice of Byron.
From your web page you can link to your own website, your social media pages or simply promote your current specials, new products and services, or news about your business. - We also offer you two news-style articles each month – by now you can see we always over-deliver when it comes to value.
- Finally, your customised web page ( in point 3. above) will run through the Voice of Byron Facebook Group of your choice, every week.
The cost is minimal – $100 a week. Actually, a flat $400 per month.
It's easier to calculate that way.
And there's no better value advertising available.
A month's advertising in Voice of Byron is like having an advertisement on every page printed by your regional daily... every day, for the next three years.
TESTIMONIAL: Byron Bay Electrical
I advertise in Voice of Byron because it works.
In fact, it works a bit too well.
Just when I feel like slowing down a bit, Voice of Byron drums me up more work to get done!
TESTIMONIAL: Global Flavours
I was pleasantly surprised at how successful advertising in Voice of Byron was.
In one month we sold nearly half of what we sold in our very successful eBay business.
I'll be sticking around, for sure.
Like John Laws used to say, "When you're on a good thing, stick to it!"
