THE BYRON Schoolies HUB is calling for volunteers to assist in this year’s Schoolies.
Byron Schoolies HUB will run from Friday, November 18 to Monday, December 5. It will be open 24/7 for Schoolies-information, First Aid, free water, sunblock, condoms and more during Schoolies.
HUB’s Facebook page informs readers that volunteers will be able to choose their own shifts, either 4 or 5 hours.
Companion Facebook page, Byron Schoolies Safety Response adds there’s a bonus for early sign-ups: “We have 50 FREE accredited FIRST AID CERTIFICATE training spaces available for volunteers who sign up early.”
Byron Schoolies Safety Response will be at the Byron Shire Volunteers Expo at the Byron Community Centre Tuesday, September 13 from 10am-3pm if you’d like to drop in and find out more…
