HOLLYWOOD HUNKS Matt Damon and Chris Hemsworth have battled alien armies and Chinese monsters, but in Byron Bay the action stars came undone by a jellyfish.
The dynamic duo were enjoying some famous Australian sunshine when Damon got a taste of another feature of our country — creatures that bite.
The pair were with their families, Hemsworth’s wife Elsa Pataky and their three children, plus Damon’s wife Luciana Barroso and their daughters.
Everyone was casually mixing with locals at Byron Bay’s famous beach The Pass when Damon’s youngest daughter was stung by a jellyfish. Paramedics had to be called to treat six-year-old Stella.
And A-lister Damon also rushed into a cafe for ice.
Thankfully, the drama was over quickly and Stella was smiling again soon enough.
The Damons, who are hiding out at the Hemsworths’ Byron Bay hinterland property, have been enjoying helicopter flights, luxury car tours, horse rides on the beach and family time since arriving in Byron on Saturday.
