THE BANGALOW Weir is looking for more rocks for its upcoming restoration works.

If you have unwanted rocks stockpiled on your property that you would like to donate to the project, give Byron Shire Council a phone call on 6626 7158.

Byron Shire Council engineer James Flockton said the rocks need to be 250mm to 800mm in size and located at properties within 25 kilometres from Bangalow.

“Many local properties clear rocks during building site works or leveling paddocks for slashing.

“If you have some rocks that you don’t need, let me know about them and we will come out and check to see if they are suitable.

Pokemon Go: Gotta Catch’em All at Splendour

HUNDREDS of people will meet at Splendour in the Grass next Friday to play Pokemon Go.

The online game allows people to play on their mobile phones, catching Pokemon characters while roaming the streets in a mix of real-life-meets-anime-world.
