JOHN WRIGHT, former Byron Shire News owner/editor and President of the Byron Bay Chamber of Commerce, announced this week the official launch of his daughter Kharisma’s first fashion collection.
Kharisma owns Kharisma J the Label.
The first official spring/summer collection of Kharisma J includes four simple pieces, created to fit every time, place and person. It includes two cropped tops with different necklines and sleeves and two dresses which correspond.
The adjustable back is the real unique point of these pieces, making it so adaptable and comfortable for every single person.
In efforts to solve the lack of diversity in today’s clothing industry, Kharisma J invested in using a newer developed fabric, Milk Silk.
The fabric is breathable, lightweight and stretches to unbelievable amounts without compromising the shape or opacity of the clothing. The light weight fabric is most ideal for any occasion and weather, comfortable enough to layer up in colder months and breathable enough to bear the Australian sun.
In using this fabric, Kharisma J clothing is incredibly soft and comfortable to wear.
Alongside using this flexible silk fabric, Kharisma J designed the adjustable back in all garments to ensure the most perfect fit for all customers. Body diversity has been the main drive for Kharisma to pursue her career in the fashion industry, finding it difficult to fit into cheap fast fashion clothes.
Kharisma J the Label promises diversity in the fit of the clothing. A size small in itself can be worn from an average size 6 to a petite size 12, as seen in the promotional shoot.
