THE FRONT page of today’s (Oct 25, 2016) Gold Coast Bulletin has taken a big, yet amusing, swipe at NSW Premier Mike Baird, portraying him as a Gummy Shark in relation to Byron Bay’s shark problem.
In a fairly credible Photoshop exercise, the “Bully” cloned in a baby’s mouth over what must have been a smiling Baird.
Next to Baird is a Great White Shark and they are labelled “Gummy Baird Shark” and Great White Shark respectively.
The headline reads, “All Talk No Bite.”
The front page then leads the reader to a double-page spread on pages 4 and 5 to delivery a quite reasonable roundup of the shark situation in Byron and Ballina.
