Voice of Byron regular, Jenni Cargill-Strong, has asked an interesting question about trees planted around 20 years ago by Byron Bay environmental group BEACON.
Jenni says, “A history question for anyone who was connected to BEACON about 20 yrs back.
“We created our temp labyrinth within a grove of banksias on foreshore, which we later discovered are planted with exact N-S-E-W alignment!
“Does anyone know who planted them?
“They are between two kayak companies near Clarkes Beach.”
