VOICE of BYRON regular, Byron Environment Centre-BEC, is calling for support in the face of a Byron Shire Council eviction notice.
On BEC’s Facebook page, it says, “A Byron Icon under threat!
“Council has declared an intention to remove the BEC rotunda from Railway Park in Byron Bay by December 13!

“Please share this and show support for our Environment Centre, which has been located in Railway Park, serving our community and visitors and staffed by volunteers since 2002.
“Let’s talk about this.
“The Environment Centre has been an integral part of the Byron family since its inception in the late 80’s.
