THE BYRON Affordable Housing Summit was held on Friday Feb 10 in the Cavanbah Centre, Byron Bay.
Reporter Dione Green spoke to Byron Shire Councilor Sarah Ndiaye, to find out what she thought of the Summit.
Cr Ndiaye also shared her thoughts on the controversial Byron Shire rate rise.
Guest speakers from across Australia included government stakeholders, housing providers, the private sector and members of the local community.
Among the topics discussed were the latest housing policies, emerging housing and investment models, development practices and much more.
