To ensure a sustainable water supply for residents and businesses within the Byron Shire, two new reservoirs are nearing completion (adjacent to existing reservoirs) in the following locations:

  • 1.45 ML reservoir at Bangalow; and
  • 10.00 ML reservoir at Coopers Shoot.

Byron Shire Council issued a Request for Tender for the detailed design and construction for both reservoirs early 2016. Council accepted the tender for the detailed design and construction of both reservoirs from Leeds Engineering and Construction Pty Ltd on 15 June 2016.

  • Thursday 20 July from 5.30 to 7.30pm
