THE OCEAN Shores Preschool have put their hand up to help keep the iconic Brunswick Heads Housie Tent stay open this summer.
Director of the Ocean Shore Preschool, Sharon Gray, said running the Housie Tent in Brunswick Heads from December 14th to January 15th, 2017 will help in raising much-needed funds for the 2017 school year ahead.
Sharon has told Voice of Byron an opportunity has arisen for the Ocean Shores Preschool to help run the popular Brunswick Heads Housie tent in the summer school holidays.
“In the process raise it will help us raise much needed funds (up to $10,000) for the preschool in just a couple of weeks,” says Sharon.
She said the preschool is actively looking for volunteers to help.
“We are looking for volunteers who can dedicate as little as one 3-hour shift, but more if possible, in running the Brunswick Heads Housie Tent.
“We have a roster and we are asking locals if they can help.”
