DOROTHY “HESTER” MAUGHAN
7/05/1922 - 02.08.2017 in her 96th year
Passed away peacefully at her home in Watego's Beach, Byron Bay.
A much cherished Aunt Hester will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated at St Finbarr's Catholic Church, Tennyson St, Byron Bay, on WEDNESDAY (August 9, 2017) commencing at 11.00am.
After Mass a private cremation will take place.
Tribute from Patirica Marshall: Epp, as she was known to family, was one of the first people to build at Watego's beach fifty years ago and has lived there ever since in that beautiful setting.
She was 95 years of age, and had lived in Byron except for holidays and working away all her life.
Such an interesting, well-read lady, she will be missed by her family the Maughans and Woolcotts.
