FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCES as a young woman resulted in Byron Bay woman, Kristin Murray, launching her own sex workshops at Byron Bay.

The 30-year-old will share teachings “sacred sexuality”, or Yoni, at weekend and year-long courses at The Women’s Shack starting July 3.

Ms Murray first established herself as a go-to on all things orgasm and romance at Red Tent feminist gatherings.

There she expressed that in her early 20s she had disappointing orgasms and a lack of connection with her partners.

The experience was not uncommon among other women.

Ms Murray believes this is caused by poor sex education in schools and unrealistic sex role models as portrayed in pornography.

“I felt compelled to help women to fall in love with their bodies and to make this my life’s work.”

HI all! As the Women’s Shack is no longer a NEIS business and is able to host Yonilicious and offer the Journey to the Sexual Self Workshops. The price has increased over the new year period to $200 early bird and $240 full price.
An end note to the above text – it misses out on a lot of the interesting aspects of BDSM that Yonilicious teaches- the light side of BDSM that relates to the pleasure and pain pathways in the brain being so closely linked and the pleasure that can be derived from healthy BDSM practices and role play. If you would like more info on this and the many other aspects of sexuality come along to one of our workshops!
There are also a few typos and misinformation but apart from that we are super happy to be in the Northern Star and able to reach the wider community!
    Warmth ,
    Kristin
