It’s thought there are a gazillion yarns and memories could be shared about the life and times of the Valdon.

Don scribbled out a quick reference for me from the wheelhouse of “Valdon”over 35 years ago when i was sitting for my Masters papers, the words written were an absolute classic, i remember Don saying that will get you into “The Lodge” if needed Bealey, some of my favorite times were chewing the fat with Don & Ponto over a beer.They made me feel like a local, even though i wasnt, Don would say, you would of settled in here nice Mate years and suffered like all of us, on Bloody Pork bones.-
