Voice of Byron regular, Robyn Sheffield, announces a South Golden Beach community meeting to be held this coming Saturday 4 Feb.
Important Meeting on North Byron Parklands:
Saturday, 4 February, 4:30PM, South Golden Beach Community Centre (Helen Street and Pacific Esplanade).
We’ll be discussing Parklands’ drive to become a PERMANENT FESTIVAL SITE, answerable ONLY to the NSW Planning Department.
If approved, we’ll see many more festivals with: vastly increased daily attendance (50,000+), more noise, more traffic jams, more crowds, more party houses, more anti-social behaviour, camping etc., etc.
And our council will have nothing to say about it!
