Voice of Byron regular, Gail Hartnett, has photographic proof of the poor parking habits exhibited by some of Byron Bay’s visitors.
Gail says, “We went to Main beach this morning for a swim – got a great park in the corner and when we came back to the car, this guy has parked like this behind my car… no-one in sight – and the car was left unlocked.
“We know, because the guy who parked next to us tried the doors.
“The driver finally came back and gave a half-hearted apology
“The photo says it all!”
I agree with Gail, visitors back in to the Beach parks and sleep, or disappear for a sunbake. To get a park to access the dog beach for a morning walk is a lottery win.
No Council car doing the rounds. Oops must have used the allotted overtime or maybe easier pickings in Johnson St.
