Voice of Byron regular, Geoff Bensley, shared with us his “best of” gallery of street entertainment in Byron Bay throughout 2016.
Geoff says. “Jonson Street would be so much nicer if it was a permanent mall or shared zone.
“The togetherness and community spirit is brought together instead of being divided by a bitumen strip with cars.
“It must have been magic in Jonson Street up until 1910 when the car came along.
“Avoiding a stationary horse poo was easier than avoiding a 2 tonne SUV.
“Is it a dream ? I hope not.”
