AROUND THIRTY years ago, these scenes of Jonson Street and the town of Byron Bay viewed from Reservoir Hill were published in Time & Tide under the heading “THE BAY TODAY:
Now appearing on page 99 of Time & Tide 1.1, the scene is a whole world away from 2016, where it’s almost impossible to even see the town from the reservoir.
Isn’t it Time & Tide 2.0 as displayed on the bottom right of the photo?
Nup, I knocked the page image from an earlier proof. 1.1 is what we decided on, since it’s a reprint of the original with very minor enhancements.
2.0 will be the next in the series, 1960 to 1970.
