MORE THAN 200 people were thrown out of a Byron Bay national park after police were called to an illegal party.
Police, council rangers and National Parks and Wildlife Services officers came across the party at Tallow Beach just before 8am Sunday 6th November.
It is believed about 400 people were in attendance at the illegal party the night before.
Police shut down the party, asked people to leave and musical equipment was seized by police.
Park rangers also put out a number of fires from the area.
