ADELAIDE CROWS superstar Rory Sloane married the “girl of his dreams” yesterday, tying the knot with longtime partner Belinda Riverso in picturesque Byron Bay.
The couple exchanged vows at Byron View Farm – overlooking the NSW coastal town – with many of his Adelaide teammates, past and present, in the crowd.
Crows captain Taylor Walker, Eddie Betts, Scott Thompson, Daniel Talia, Sam Jacobs, Richard Douglas and Tom Lynch were among the players looking on, along with Crows assistant coach, Scott Camporeale.
Sloane’s good mate, former Crow-turned-Geelong Brownlow medallist Patrick Dangerfield and wife Mardi also made the trip from Moggs Creek to attend the ceremony.
The bride looked stunning as she walked down the aisle in a chic ivory bodice, paired with a traditional-style full-length skirt by Adelaide’s Caleche Bridal.
Ex-Crows player Shaun McKernan was one of the bridal party, while the celebrant was former Crows board member and Harris Real Estate chief executive Greg Moulton.
