THE FIRST day of Spring was not a happy one for an Ocean Shores family, when a surfboard was stolen as they moved house.
Julie Morris’ children Caitlan, Liam and Thomas Hannigan bought the surfboard for Julie’s partner Patrick’s 60th birthday.
The surfboard was stolen from their Orana Road home on Friday, September 1.

Julie said the kids were shattered at the theft.
“They are really upset about it, as they worked hard for their money and were so happy to be able to buy Patrick this surfboard,” she said.
Anyone with information regarding the stolen board should phone Liam on 0432 431 101.
