MALCOLM TURNBULL’S recent Ramadan dinner included amongst his guests mufti Sheikh Shady, well known for his view that “adulterers should be stoned to death.”
Unconfirmed sources from within the Shire indicate that just in case Malcolm Turnbull actually does make it to the position of Prime Minister of Australia, an order of 1000 tonnes of throw-sized stones has been placed with a local quarry.
Our source said, “The number of straying spouses in the Shire is such we felt there might be a shortage of stones, should Australia adopt Sheikh Shady’s death-by-stoning policy. So we ordered 1000 tonnes of rocks for back up.
“After all, as former Shire Councillor Mike Watterson has said in the past, the definition of confusion is Father’s Day in Byron Bay.”
